Platform

From genotype to absolute risk

The PolyCypher platform is the models behind every Priora report. A lab sample and an uploaded file go through the same analysis.

Informational and Research Use Only. Our models estimate health risk. They do not diagnose or predict whether a person will develop a condition.

The challenge

Most US adults live with a chronic disease.

The highest-burden diseases, common chronic diseases and cancers, are biologically complex and poorly understood. They account for most illness, disability and death in the United States. We live in a sick-care system, not a healthcare system.

76%
of US adults report at least one chronic condition
$5.3T
in annual US health care spending, 90% of it for people with chronic and mental health conditions

Status today

Diagram of inputs, the PolyCypher engine and outputs, marking what is available now and what is coming soon. Full status is in the table below.
Status of each capability today
Capability Status What that means
Genetic risk estimates for 13 conditions Available now Through Priora
Combined risk estimates Available now Survey version. With consent, health and lifestyle answers are added to the same model
Clinician portal Available now With patient consent. We are improving it with our founding clinics
Priora connector for Claude Beta A one-time code carries one report and expires in fifteen minutes. An assistant’s explanation is not medical advice
Health records and lab results First version uses survey data Survey answers go into combined estimates. Uploaded records are stored for future scoring
Lifestyle data First version uses survey data Survey answers go into combined estimates. Uploaded data is stored for future scoring
Additional disease models In development 30+ more disease models
Tracking over time Next year Follow how risk changes
Whole genome sequencing Next year Our assay today is a genotyping microarray
Blood biomarker panels Late next year Adds blood markers to estimates
Provider record connection API developed, seeking partners Connects with each health system by agreement

For health enterprises and clinics

Today

A member can download their report as a PDF and hand it to a clinician.

Clinician portal

A connected clinician can read the report, download a structured export and write private notes, with the patient’s consent. We are improving it with our founding clinics.

Coming soon

Ordering through a clinic, EHR integration and white-label versions. The API for provider records is developed, and we are seeking partners.

A high score is a reason to discuss screening, and a low score does not rule a condition out. Neither is a clinical finding.
